The story of TB/BSW is one of pure serendipity a magnificent “accident” that resulted in a blend far greater than the sum of its parts. Born from a chance encounter in a warehouse full of rich, sherry-seasoned casks, this liquid captures the character of a bygone era. What began as a fortunate mistake has become a Thompson Bros staple, celebrated for its heavy, oil-slicked sherry profile and its honest, Highland soul.

Since our first release of this blend, the remaining casks have rested in our care for several more years. This final batch is now aged 9 Years, with the additional time in wood bringing a deeper, more resonant maturity to the spirit. As we bottle this final marriage, the character has evolved into a dense profile of antique leather and mahogany polish.
