Tullibardine Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Full Term Red Wine Barrique

48.5% ABV

Nose:  Unripe cranberries, Autumn leaves, creme de cassis, cinnamon, nutmeg, sultanas and raspberry cordial.

Palate: Dry spice with berry compote. Clove studded oranges, grapefruit juice and crushed spearmint.

Finish: Dry and certainly tannic—some lingonberry jam, cloves and cinnamon.

Although we are not the biggest fans of red wine-aged whisky, this style works well. Full-term maturation tends to soften the tannins and bring more balance through oxidative ageing.
